Wedding Cakes
Inquire:
Weddings can be very stressful to plan, so at Savor and Swoon I try to make things as easy and fun as possible. While I enjoy meeting couples in person to discuss their needs, I understand time and schedules can be a bit tricky. However if time allows, I would love to set up a consultation. If not, I am always open to communicating via email/phone. Either way, first order of business is to send me some details about your event via the contact page. Once I receive your inquiry, I will contact you via email. From there we can schedule a consultation to discuss your needs!
Consultation:
At your consultation we will discuss the details of your custom wedding cake. Please feel free to bring any photos, fabric, or color samples that you would like to include in your design. I am dedicated to creating a beautiful and unique design for your special day and will work with you to determine every last detail. By the end of your consultation, you will have a hand-drawn sketch of your cake to go home with.
Taste:
I would love for you to taste some cake! While a cake should be beautiful, let's be honest.. how it tastes is the most important part! So, please take a look at my cake menu and select 3 you would like to taste. If possible we will conduct this tasting at your consultation. Due to scheduling, please allow at least a 7 day lead time when arranging your tasting. I bake everything fresh, so it requires some time!
Finalize:
At your consultation we will be sure to discuss pricing and payment. After your consultation, I will send you an outline of what we discussed: Design, Flavor, Size and Final Price. Once the decision has been made, 50% of the total cake cost will secure your date on my calendar. Once you have made this payment and signed our cake agreement we will continue to work together to make any changes or alterations to your order if requested. The balance of your order is to be paid, in full, two weeks prior to your event. I will work with your coordinator, venue and caterer to ensure every detail of your wedding cake is considered.
